A little bit about me! Like many interior designers I have always had a strong pull to anything and everything creative. I grew up in the world of ballet, my teen years were consumed with all things thrifting and the majority of my adult career life was in merchandising for retail spaces. I have a degree from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and a Residential Interior Design certification from the Rhode Island School of Design.

How does one go from working in the retail industry to owning an interior design studio? Great question! My career in retail offered me a place to create spaces and environments that people felt welcomed in and inspired by. It taught me the craft of balance, texture mixing and the power of color. I still use many of the same thought processes in creating interior spaces which is where my passion thrives.

At the end of 2020 my husband and I had a fire in our beloved home. That started a 9 month renovation project that essentially catupulted me into really understanding how much I love home design and styling. Even after our house was complete the desire to continue working in that realm stayed and turned into me helping family and friends with their home projects. It became so much of a passion that my day job wasn’t fulfilling my creative spirit anymore. So I made the big leap to doing what I truly believe I was actually meant to do all along…. helping others create the spaces of their dreams.
